CONFORMITY APPROVAL IN BELARUS
Belarus (officially the Republic of Belarus) is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. Its capital and largest city is Minsk.

Since the Republic of Belarus is part of the Eurasian Economic Union, the main document for admitting products to the Belarus market is a Certificate or Declaration of the Customs Union (EAC). However, in addition to the supranational EAC CoC (or EAC DoC) of the five EAEU-member states, there are also additional national requirements of Belarus or requirements that appear due to the specifics of the products:
- for products containing encryption tools, it is necessary to get FSS Notification.
- for products falling under the Customs Union Commission Decision “On the Application of Sanitary Measures in the Customs Union”, it is required to obtain State Registration Certificate.
- for goods falling under national requirements (such as Energy Efficiency, Telecom etc.) it is necessary to get National Certificates of Belarus (RB CoC)
Typical list of documents for RB CoC:
- application form
- shipment contract for batch certification
- product manual/operating manual
- testing reports of the manufacturer
- technical passport/safety justification
- technical drawings/pictures
Validity of RB CoC:
- up to 5 years for mass-production CoC (depends on type of CoC)
- not specified for batch CoC
