CONFORMITY APPROVAL IN TAJIKISTAN

Conformity approval of products in the Republic of Tajikistan is carried out in accordance with Law No.889 “On the conformity assessment”. This Law regulates legal and structural relations within compliance assessment of products against technical regulations and national standards requirements.
There are more than 20 technical regulations in Tajikistan, such as No 189 “On the safety of low-voltage equipment”, No 498 “On products for children” etc. They contain essential requirement to the products, packing, labeling, user manuals including Conformity mark TJT.
Products subject to conformity approval in a regulated area, before being placed on the market, should be marked by the conformity mark TJT, if the regulatory act provides for such marking. Marking the product with the TJT mark of conformity indicates its compliance with the basic requirements established by regulatory documents. The use of TJT conformity mark on products that have not been subjected to conformity assessment procedures in the proper manner or do not meet the requirements established in regulatory documents, is prohibited.

- technical passport/safety justification
- technical drawings/pictures
Validity of TJT CoC:
- 1 year for mass-production CoC
- not specified for batch CoC
