EMC (020/2011)

TR CU 020/2011 “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means”.

It is one of four the most frequently applicable Technical regulations for electrical products in EAEU.

This regulation is very close to DIRECTIVE 2014/30/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 26 February 2014 on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility.

All electric devices influence each other when interconnected or close to each other. The purpose of electromagnetic compatibility is to keep all side effects under reasonable control. EMC designates all the existing and future technologies and techniques for reducing disturbance and enhancing immunity.

EMC Regulation ensures that electrical and electronic equipment does not generate, or is not affected by, electromagnetic disturbance.

EMC Regulation limits electromagnetic emissions from equipment in order to ensure that, when used as intended, such equipment does not disturb other equipment.

EMC Regulation also governs the immunity of the equipment to interference and seeks to ensure that this equipment is not disturbed by radio emissions, when used as intended.
