TR CU 010/2011 “ON SAFETY OF MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT”
This Technical regulation establishes the minimum necessary requirements for safety of machines and equipment during design, production, installation, setting up, operation, storage, transportation, marketing and disposal for the purposes of safety of life or health of people, property, protection of environment, life and health of animals and prevention of the actions misleading the consumers.
This regulation is very close to Machinery Directive of EU – Directive 2006/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2006.
The regulation applies to machinery such as woodworking machines for household and industrial use, agricultural machinery, mechanized tools, equipment for trade and gastronomy, lifting equipment, turbines and gas turbines, ventilation equipment, diesel generators, metalworking machinery, welding equipment, industrial tractors, bicycles, industrial laundry machines, industrial fans and air-conditioners, printing machines, metalworking tools end many others…
Machinery that is covered by more specific Technical regulations is excluded from the scope. This includes:
- machines for communication networks
- medical devices
- machines for nuclear industry
- car industry equipment
- sea vessels
- space and aircraft
- railway equipment
- amusement attractions
- military equipment
- machines for disabled people
- agricultural and forestry tractors and trailers
- drilling platforms
