Package (005/2011)
TR CU 005/2011 “On the safety of packaging”.
In EAEU The Technical regulation 005/2011 is applicable to all types of packaging (including closures) listed below, if they are finished products released into circulation in the customs territory of the Customs Union, regardless of the country of origin.
Packaging for medical devices, medicines, pharmaceuticals, tobacco products and dangerous goods, for freight containers and pallets for the carriage of goods by road, rail, sea and air, are in the list of exceptions of this Regulation.
The list of packaging and closures covered by the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On the safety of packaging” (TR CU 005/2011).
- Metal packaging for food, perfumery and cosmetic products, industrial and household products (aluminum foil, cans, barrels, flasks, kegs, canisters, tubes, cylinders, drums), except for used ones.
- Polymeric packaging for food, agricultural, perfumery and cosmetic products, industrial and household products, including light industry products and toys (casings, films, boxes, barrels, canisters, flasks, cans, tubes, bottles, bags, containers, trays, pencil cases), except for the used one.
- Paper and cardboard packaging for food, agricultural and perfumery and cosmetic products, industrial and household products, including light industry products and toys (packs, jars, bags, trays, boxes, including parchment packaging, glassine, greaseproof paper, wrapping paper, parchment, paper for packaging on machines).
- Glass packaging for food and perfumery and cosmetic products, household chemicals, paints and varnishes (bottles, cans, vials, ampoules, cylinders).
- Packaging made of combined materials for food and perfumery and cosmetic products, industrial and household products (corrugated boxes, packs, bags, bottles, jars, packaging and label materials, containers, trays, tubes).
- Wooden packaging for food and agricultural products (boxes, barrels, tubs…), except for used ones.
- Packaging made of textile materials for food and non-food products (bags, packages, containers), except for used ones.
- Ceramic packaging for food and perfumery and cosmetic products (bottles, cans, barrels).
