Ukraine has announced regulatory changes for radio equipment registration with the NCCIR. Starting from April 1, 2018, new technical regulations for radio electronic devices (so named RED Regulation) came in force in Ukraine.

Radio equipment distributed before April 1, 2018 must comply with the requirements of the TRs for radio equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment, Technical Regulations for electromagnetic compatibility of equipment, and Technical Regulations for low voltage equipment. Starting from April 1, 2019 radio products are subject to mandatory compliance with the RED Regulation. Moreover, only local Ukrainian legal entities can apply for being included in the NCCIR register.
