On April 29, 2022, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus published Decree #270 “On the features of conformity assessment” for products with mandatory technical requirements to be put into circulation in Belarus.

The most essential point of the Decree are as follows:

• The validity of the certificates of conformity expiring from May 6, 2022 – September 1, 2022, is extended up to 12 months.
• Spare parts imported for maintenance and/or repair of finished goods previously put into circulation on the territory products in Belarus, and single units for non-commercial use may be imported without the submission of documents proving compliance.

The Decree entered into force after its official publication and is valid until December 31, 2023.
