The technical regulations on the safety of perfumery products have been changed.

The Council of EEC amended the technical regulation TR TS 009/2011 “On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products” (Decision #64 dated April 15, 2022).

The list of substances prohibited for use in cosmetics and perfumery products has been supplemented by almost three hundred items. The lists of permitted preservatives and substances permitted for use subject to restrictions have also been adjusted.

These changes will come into force in one year.
