CHANGES in TR CU 020/2011

At a meeting of the EEC Council on June 10, a decision was made to amend the technical regulation of the Customs Union “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means”.

From the scope of technical regulation there were excluded medical devices and technical equipment that were in operation, as well as products that are included in the scope of other technical regulations of the Union that establish electromagnetic compatibility requirements for these objects.

There were changed, corrected or specified:

– terms (such as “importer”, “authorized representative”, “end user”, “batch of technical devices”, “household appliances” etc.);

– the composition of the information indicated in the operational documentation; – the list of products subject to confirmation of compliance with EMC requirements in the form of CoC.

The changes come into force after 180 calendar days from the date of official publication of the decision of the EEC Council on their adoption. As of the evening of June 12, 2022, the document has not yet been published.
